Comment: very nice lager that tasted more like a bitter. Stunning views across Bebek bay and towards the first Bosphorous bridge.

Efes Pilsen

Comment: Turkey's original beer, a bit gassy but nice when ice cold.

Comment: Bananas - good, banana bread - good, banana bread beer - much less good. Smells like dessert and tastes like it too.

Comment: says it's great with spicy food, so only wish I could get some in China or Thailand. Tasted nice enough with a cold English summer as well.

Comment: Only denied a 10 as the beer garden was populated by every scummer in Burton!

Comment: Another from Mark Sears, "The finest of all German beers, although its not really German it's Bavarian, who are apparently strange Lederhosen wearing freaks. Taste 9/10 but only 2/10 if wearing leather chaps"

Comment: Another guest selection from Mark Sears, "Beer from Argentina. Not exactly a classic but a kind of everyday easy drinking beer, won't win any medals for quality but easy to get pished on."

Comment: A guest selection from Mark Sears, who says "local beer of Hamburg. Drank many many of them after I finished the marathon. Typical German lager 7/10 but after 26.2 miles felt more like 10/10"
